It's May, and we had our first Rhubarb Pie, on special request by Birthday Boy! I actually went and BOUGHT some rhubarb at the grocery store, since the rhubarb in the garden is not ready for harvest quite yet -- but what mother can resist her child requesting Mom's specialty on his birthday! Aren't we moms just suckers for praise?!?
